Thank you for an informative article regarding the challenges associated with using hydrogen as an energy carrier. It seems like another chapter in energy system subsidy-seeking and not much else. As a former docent at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, I appreciated your reference to reporter Herb Morrison's 1937 eyewitness report of the hydrogen-filled Hindenburg disaster. ....Oh, it's crashing . . . oh, four or five hundred feet into the sky, and it's a terrific crash, ladies and gentlemen. There's smoke, and there's flames, now, and the frame is crashing to the ground, not quite to the mooring mast. Oh, the humanity, and all the passengers screaming around here!,....
Thank you for laying out the factual side of this next boondoggle. But always remember we are fighting against those who use emotion, not facts, to arrive at conclusions.
PS: As the utility acronyms flashed by as they were mentioned, I couldn't help but laugh at the Investor-Owned Utilities (IOU).
The line "Ever the intrepid follower of bad European energy policy ..." had me laughing out loud. Thank you for educating me, K.T.
My pleasure! Glad you got a laugh out of it! My goal is always to be educational with a healthy dose of entertainment :)

I know, IOU really says it all. The jokes, they write themselves!
California isn’t real. It’s a failed South Park episode that escaped the lab.
LOL!
